Mission

The mission of the Technical Services Department is to establish and maintain the County wide Geographical Information System, other than proprietary data within other departments (i.e., Assessors Parcels, Planning and Zoning data, etc.).

Further, it is the responsibility of this department to provide support in areas such as the Annual Infrastructure Capital Improvements Plan (ICIP), the Annual County Road hearing, Facility and Real Property Inventory, Underground Storage Tank remediation and contract oversight, as well as other non routine duties as assigned by the Public Works Director, the County Manager and the County Commission. The goal of this department is to be flexible to the changing needs of department heads, elected officials and to the general public by providing accurate and timely information..
